Mathilda Clahr Leather M Strap Oak
Mathilda Clahr, a design student at Konstfack in Sweden, has transformed a simple strap of leather into a hanger with endless uses, from keeping a favorite bag or magazine at the ready to stowing towels or scarves. Vegetable-tanned in Tärnsjö, Sweden, the natural leather will darken over time.
Simple, minimalistic and fuss-free, we personally use the M Strap to tie back curtain drapes in our home and to store much-loved magazines.

About Mathilda Clahr:
Mathilda Clahr (b.1988) is currently a student at Konstfack in Interior Architecture and Furniture Design in Stockholm, Sweden.
She designed the Strap during a course in her second year at Nyckelviksskolan, also the year when she founded her eponymous company, 2012. She drew inspiration for the hanger from a simple strap/loop that you hold on to in the public buses. A simple idea with an essence of functional and stylish Scandinavian design.
